Dave Blanchard, Executive Director

This year we are pleased to partner with All About Developmental Disabilities (AADD) as our 2012 beneficiary. For more than 50 years, AADD has been Atlanta’s foremost nonprofit provider of support services to children, adults, and families living with developmental disabilities. AADD employs a family oriented and community-based approach to helping families with developmental disabilities through Consultation and Planning; Individual and Family Support Services; and Advocacy and Education Services. Each year the organization serves over 2,000 individuals in Metro-Atlanta living with developmental disabilities and their families. Proceeds from this year’s Cathedral Antiques Show and Tour of Homes  will enable AADD to develop a state-of-the-art Family Support Crisis Center.

AADD’s Passion

To build communities of support, acceptance, and opportunity for children, adults, and families living with developmental disabilities.

“AADD helped me to know that I can raise my child, be able to survive with her, and help her with anything that she needs. Because of AADD, I am now there for her.”

-Danistra Baker, a Georgia citizen living with a developmental disability

“Over the years, AADD has a history of providing important and unbiased advocacy and information, so people living with developmental disabilities are treated with justice and respect. This strong legacy has given AADD the integrity that families and policymakers can rely on.”

-Dr. Paul Alberto, professor of psychology and special education at Georgia State University
